Hello,

 

I'm Mikael Syrjälä, a designer from Helsinki. My home has always been in Southern Finland, excluding those few years I spent abroad while studying. Ever since my childhood drawing has been a natural way to spend time, and being artistic has always steered my life choises. That's why my school path led from Kuvataidelukio to the University of Art and Design Helsinki, from where I also got to some foreign universities as an exchange student.

 

You are warmly welcome to my web site. Here you can see some examples of my design- and art work that I've made both for work and for fun. It is hard for me to name a favourite category in design work, because each phase is interesting in its own manner. It is important for me to be able to use my creative and original imagination in the process of solving problems, either independently or in a supportive work environment.
